Playing at Little Wilbraham Fair

10. September 2011 Concerts, Photos 0

The Cam Sax Quartet formed part of the entertainment at today’s Little Wilbraham Village Fair.  The churchyard was filled with a wide variety of different stalls covering games, toys, cakes, bric-a-brac and raffles and the event was very well attended throughout the afternoon.

Despite the event taking place on the day that the tail end of hurricane Irene made its way across the Altantic to the UK we sheltered next to the church and played a couple of sets of lighter music, stopping only for the regular announcements of the results of the maggot races!

Taking time out between sets we were thoroughly entertained by Mr Rainbow, with the adults being somewhat aloof to begin with, but shouting out “He’s behind you” louder than the kids by the end.  Angela also took some time out to investigate a possible change in career.

The photos of the event were taken by Chris Fell who has kindly allowed us to use them.
