Playing for the Abbey Couple

Last week the quartet were at Woburn Abbey where they were playing at Clare and Shaun’s wedding.

We were slightly changed from our normal line up as Angela was on an extended tour of the US, so Sara Williamson kindly stepped in to help us out on Alto.

We were playing on the terrace of the sculpture gallery whilst the guests were socialising after the ceremony. It was a lovely venue, but we arrived to leaden skies and slight drizzle.  Someone must have been watching over the wedding though – as soon as the ceremony started the sun came out and we played in blazing sunshine up until the last person went through the receiving line, at which point the rain started!
