A little Christmas cheer

Through much of November the quartet have been working on some new Christmas arrangements which are mostly jazzy versions of traditional Christmas songs (many of them arranged by Maria, our tenor player). We finally got to give them their first public outing just before Christmas when we played for the Harston school Christmas fair.

We managed to keep up our “small hat” tradition (stemming from the small union jack top hats we got for Kate and Will’s royal wedding) with the addition of our new Christmas hats. OK, so they’re actually supposed to be worn by dogs, but I think we just about carried them off.
